Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or technical field with at least five years experience in manufacturing/industrial setting or equivalent.
Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS 16949 standards.
Certification in quality standards auditing.
Advanced computer & laboratory test equipment knowledge.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & oral).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Schedule & conduct internal quality audits, report results, and assign other employees to perform audits as necessary.
Issue and follow-up corrective action requests to ensure actions are taken to resolve problems.
Coordinate and manage 3rd party certifications for Environmental and Quality management systems.
Interface with customers and third-party auditors who visit TFC to perform audits.
Work closely with other staff in the analysis of customer complaints, vendor problems, and internal quality problems to achieve resolutions and compile reports as required.
Coordinate and assist with supplier improvement plans to include supplier audit program.
Support other areas of the facility such as Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering and Logistics to ensure the quality of product and process is maintained.
Possess and deploy a hands-on approach to quality functions and be present in the manufacturing areas on a daily basis to assist as needed.
Attend and contribute to management meetings by providing data and reports of quality assurance dept.

Write and revise procedures, work instructions, and forms as required.
Maintain and manage all controlled documents such as environmental and quality management system documents, nonconforming material reports, and deviations.
Disposition nonconforming material issues and reports.
Review and disposition customer returns.

Understand and incorporate practices related to the aspects of safety and good housekeeping.
Is familiar with the TFC Quality Policy and understands the impact of his/her job performance upon the quality of our products.
