The purpose of this position is to assist with the daily operations of the Circuit Court and the Judge's Chambers.
This is accomplished by administering court scheduling; overseeing office procedures and policies; providing first line of contact with outside agencies regarding court matters; maintaining strong knowledge of both policies and law; preparing the yearly department budget; determining yearly criminal and civil court terms; ability to record court proceedings; typing opinion letters; preparing and finalizing all court sessions; handling numerous confidential documents; and handling yearly orders for the County with appointments to various boards.

- Strong analytical skills to review and analyze legal documents - Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective document drafting and communication with clients and colleagues - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document review and preparation - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with paralegal duties and responsibilities This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of legal processes.
The ability to analyze complex information, conduct thorough research, and assist in drafting legal documents is essential.
