Executive Assistant to the President Reports to:
President, Hargrave Military Academy Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
The Executive Assistant to the President is responsible for all issues relating to the Academy as directed by the President.
These include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following areas:
Coordinate and provide support to the President's scheduled appointments and meetings.
Manage the President's calendar.
Manage the President's telephone calls by taking messages and/or coordinating appropriate actions.
Draft and manage the President's correspondence and manage incoming general correspondence.
Sort the President's mail and prepare responses (when necessary).
Maintain and update standard letters.
Prepare and coordinate the agenda for staff meetings.
Assist at matriculation, special weekends, and other school events such as Parents Weekend, Mother's Day Weekend, Open Houses, Graduation, etc.
Maintain Board of Trustee, parent, faculty, staff, and various other required databases.
Coordinate Board of Trustee meeting support to include preparing Trustee packets for board meetings and maintaining and updating the Board of Trustees Handbook.
Attend Board of Trustee meetings and committee meetings, preparing notes and minutes for the Secretary of the Board.
Draft and coordinate edits of various Academy publications specifically the Cadet Planner, Parent/Student, and Employee Handbooks.
Coordinate the purchase of HMA class rings for the seniors.
Prepare and maintain the Faculty, Staff, and Parent telephone and email directory, while coordinating the revision and update of email distribution lists.
Process all Human Resource paperwork for new hires and support all ongoing Human Resource needs.
Maintain and coordinate recognition of employee work anniversaries and birthdays.
Publish and manage the school calendar.
Maintain the President's master file of correspondence and information.
Conduct special research and other projects for the President.
Perform other duties as assigned by the President and support school leadership.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
